- Plot -
Reuben, è un agente assicurativo che di mestiere calcola i rischi, metodico e preciso, valuta scrupolosamente ogni sua mossa, ma quando durante il primo giorno della luna di miele a St. Barth, la neo-moglie Lisa lo tradisce con un'istruttore di sub francese, tutto quello che aveva costruito crolla miseramente. Un giorno incontra Polly, una vecchia compagna di scuola, una donna eternamente indecisa che ha girato il mondo e vive con un furetto mezzo cieco.
Tra varie situazioni imbarazzanti, i due, diversi come il giorno e la notte, comincerYears a frequentarsi e piacersi. A Lisa non basterà tornare chiedendo scusa perché ormai Polly è entrata nel cuore di Reuben, tanto da spingerlo a prendersi rischi un tempo impensabili per lui, pur di averla con sé.
Reuben Feffer thinks he's found the love of his life but on his honeymoon he discovers her cheating on him with a scuba instructor. Reuben travels back home to get his life on track. On a night out with best pal, Sandy Lyle, Reuben discovers an old school friend, Polly Prince. Reuben feels a connection straight away, and tries constantly to get her to like her. But it's not going to be easy for Reuben, especially when he spends his days calculating risks, and when someone unexpected turns up.
